Oti Akenteng backs Hearts of Oak’s pursuit of Didi Dramani as head coach
Former Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Francis Oti Akenteng, has expressed strong support for Hearts of Oak’s decision to appoint Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as their new head coach.

The former Black Stars assistant coach is currently in advanced negotiations with the Phobians to take over the reins ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Oti Akenteng, who previously worked with Dramani, praised his professionalism and work ethic.
He believes the club is making the right choice by turning to the experienced former Asante Kotoko and Black Queens coach.
“Didi Dranmani is evergreen. He is always researching and learning on the job. He has enormous experience, and I believe Hearts of Oak will never regret appointing him,” Oti Akenteng said.
“He has worked at CAF, with Black Stars, and with Asante Kotoko. He knows the work of coaching, and I sanction this decision by the Hearts of Oak hierarchy.
“I have worked with him, and I know that he will be a rightful person to coach this Hearts of Oak team,” he added.
Meanwhile, current Technical Director Aboubakar Ouattara is expected to step down from his position as the club reshuffles its technical setup.
The club has also unveiled a recruitment team tasked with overseeing player signings and squad strengthening ahead of the new campaign.
