Asante Kotoko yet to decide on Karim Zito’s future, says club PRO, Sarfo Duku
Communications Director, Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku Esq., says the club is considering their options before deciding on Karim Zito.

The former Dreams FC head coach joined the Porcupine Warriors as an interim coach after the club parted ways with Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum midway through the second half of the season.
Under the guidance of Zito, Kotoko clinched their 10th FA Cup title following a hard-fought 2-1 win against lower-tier side, Golden Kick.
Despite Zito’s success chalked at the club in a short period, Sarfo Duku says the club is looking at all options to sort the issue out.
“Events have changed; there are other options on the table. It is through our discussions that we will know which of the options will be the best for Kotoko,” he told Sporty FM.
“He’s an experienced coach, he has what it takes to take us to Africa if management decides…why not? But that will be after we’ve discussed and assessed his technical report, and then draw our conclusions,” he added.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko has confirmed the departure of Frederick Asare and Michael Kyei Dwamena. Other players who are expected to leave the club include Justice Blay, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, Kwasi Asante, Samuel Tenadu, Fernando Bassey and Sampson Eduku.
