VIDEO: Black Stars players get fresh haircut ahead of World Cup

Players of the Black Stars are looking all fresh ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

The team visited a barbering shop in Nottingham to get their haircut before leaving for the United States.

In a video shared on social media, wingers Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah were spotted having their turns at the shop.

Defender Jonas Adjetey and forward Prince Adu Kwabena were also seen having their hair freshly shaped.

The Black Stars left the United Kingdom after a friendly against Wales, a game that ended in a pulsating 1-1 draw in Cardiff.

The West Africans are based in Rhode Island, where they are fine-tuning for their Group L opener against Panama in Toronto on June 17.

The Black Stars will also face England and Croatia in Group L on June 23 and June 27 respectively.

Ghana is making a fifth appearance at the World Cup since making their debut in 2006.
