The pupils and deprived children in the Tolon district of the Northern Region have petitioned the President Nana Akofo Addo on behalf of all children living in Ghana, to ensure a peaceful environment and provide adequate security for the protection of all children under his democratic leadership.

A statement signed by a four member student leadership in the Tolon district said their petition  became necessary for redress due to the continues increasing crime rate and inhumane treatment meted out against innocent children in Ghana.
