Ibrahim Tanko will be fully supported ahead of CAF Champions League campaign, says club president Moses Parker

Medeama SC President Moses Armah has reiterated the club's commitment to providing head coach Ibrahim Tanko with all the support required to mount a strong challenge in this season's CAF Champions League.

The Tarkwa-based club secured qualification for Africa’s premier club competition after emerging champions of the Ghana Premier League and are now focused on assembling a squad capable of competing against the continent’s elite.

Speaking ahead of the team’s preparations, Armah stressed that the club’s management is determined to strengthen the squad and create the ideal conditions for the technical team to succeed on the continental stage.

He said Medeama’s ambition extends beyond simply representing Ghana, insisting the club is targeting a competitive campaign that will leave a lasting impression in the tournament.

According to the club president, management will work hand in hand with Ibrahim Tanko and his technical staff to address every key area of the team, including player recruitment, logistics, and overall preparations.

“We are committed to equipping the head coach [Ibrahim Tanko] with everything necessary to build a competitive team. Our goal is to have a successful CAF Champions League campaign and make our supporters proud,” Armah said.

Medeama are hoping to surpass their previous performances in continental football as they prepare to take on some of Africa’s biggest clubs in the upcoming competition.
