2025 AFCON Qualifiers: It’s going to be tough to the last match – Ghana coach Otto Addo admits
The head coach of Ghana’s male senior national team, Otto Addo has admitted that his team will not have it easy securing qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The coach was left disappointed and pained on Thursday evening after his side dominated the clash against Sudan but failed to pick up all three points.
The Group F game ended in a goalless stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ghana coach Otto Addo said his team can still qualify for the 2025 AFCON although it will be tough up until the last game.
“I cannot even assure you, maybe God will take me tomorrow and then what can I assure? We will try our best and I know that in the end we will be rewarded. The positive thing is, it’s still in our own hands. We have to win the next game. And still, we are not qualified yet and it’s still a long way. It’s going to be tough to the last match I think but we will do it,” coach Otto Addo said.
With just two points from three games, Ghana is third in Group F and in need of a win to revive its chances of qualifying for the next edition of the AFCON.
Coach Otto Addo and his team will take on Sudan on Tuesday, October 15, in the second leg of their tie in the group.
