We are contenders for every single trophy next season – Bibiani Goldstars chief Akwasi Adu
Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, Akwasi Adu has set an ambitious target ahead of the commencement of the 2025/26 football campaign.
Following their Ghana Premier League success, the Bibiani-based club has booked a slot in Africa and are expected to represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
Domestically, Goldstars will battle to defend their Premier League title and also compete in the Ghana FA Cup competitions in a packed campaign.
Viewing Goldstars as contenders for the upcoming campaign, Akwasi Adu has implored his outfit to at least win one of the three major competitions.
“We are interested in competing in the CAF Champions League, Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup. We are always a contender because we’ve been able to win a trophy. At least we should be able to win one of the three competitions next season. You (players) must know you are here for a purpose” he said.
Meanwhile, Bibiani Goldstars are expected to lean their CAF Champions League opponent in the preliminary round on August 12, 2025 at a draw scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Additionally, the commencement of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign has been scheduled to kick start in September 2025.
The Miners resumed training weeks ago as they gear up for the upcoming football campaign.
