The management of the Northern Electricity Distribution company Ltd has deny allegations that it has bribed some Assembly members and opinion leaders in order to deploy mienergy/Longi meters in the various communities.
The company categorically and emphatically deny these allegations as they are spurious, unfounded and wicked. It stressed that NEDCo does not need to and will not bribe or inappropriately influence any assembly member , opinion leader or person for that matter .
Management says it is their mandate or duties in upgrading of lines, injection of transformer and the deployment of meters into the community.
NEDCO says it sees these Assembly members and opinion leaders as liaison between NEDCO and it’s customers.
