National Service Authority begins screening and medical examinations for military training

The National Service Authority (NSA) has scheduled screening and medical examinations for preselected National Service Personnel (NSPs) interested in joining the Basic Military Training Programme from Monday, November 2, to Saturday, November 7, 2026.
The exercise is intended to assess the eligibility and medical fitness of prospective participants ahead of the commencement of the training programme.
In a notice, the Authority urged all preselected personnel who had expressed interest and confirmed their willingness to participate to take note of the dates and make the necessary arrangements to attend the screening.
The NSA said information on designated screening centres, reporting times and other requirements would be communicated through the appropriate channels.
The Authority wished all prospective participants success in the screening exercise.
