The governing council of the University for Development Studies (UDS), has appointed Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar as the new registerer of the university at a meeting held yesterday Thursday, April 15,2021.
His appointment which takes effect from September 1,2021, was contained in a release copied to FiilaNews and dated April 15,2021.
Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic and Philosophy, and a master’s degree in archival studies from the University of Ghana.
He also obtained a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Administrator and Management consultants-Ghana (CIAMC-Ghana).
Until his recent appointment Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar is currently serving as the Deputy Registerer in charge of academics and students affairs.
He has held various portfolios until now, some of which includes; Assistant Registerer, Faculty Officer, School Officer in the School of Medicine among several others.
