Mathew Cudjoe glitters and scores first goal in Israeli Premier League

Mathew Cudjoe provided a hockey assist which resulted in him scoring his first goal for Israeli side Bnei Sakhnin on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.

The 20-year-old was making his third appearance for the club he joined three weeks ago on a free transfer.

His 54th minute screamer from inside the box ensured Bnei Sakhnin doubled their lead en route to beating Beitar Jerusalem 2-1 in the Israeli Premier League.

Cudjoe collected a pass close to the centre arc and threaded it to right side for Obeida Darwish who squared it inside the area for the Ghana youth star to smash home for a two-nil scoreline.

Konstantinos Sotiriou had opened the scoring on 12 minutes with Cudjoe provided the assist for the goal.

Beitar Jerusalem pulled one back in the 57th minute.
