Heavy down pour leaves Sakasaka Primary school roofless

The rainfall that was witnessed in the region last Friday evening is said to have caused serious destruction to both private is public property.

The heavy down pour which was accompanied by strong winds pulled down billboards, roofs among others.

The strong wind which accompanied the rain which lasted for about an hour ripped off the roofs of Sakasaka School exposing the furniture and other learning materials mercy of the weather.

When Fiila News visited the scene, the nursery classrooms had their sheet ripped off but no human casualty was recorded.

Due to the president’s directive of all schools to shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the destruction happened at the time when all students and pupils were at home.
