Fuming Peter Ofori-Quaye slams Ghana FA after U20’s Germany rout
Ghana U20's 5-0 thrashing by Germany has left ex-Black Stars striker Peter Ofori-Quaye ‘frothing at the mouth’.

The 1998 UEFA Champions League star with Olympiacos has questioned the criteria used in selecting the players for the junior national team.
Ofori-Quaye’s couldn’t hold back after the final whistle and took to Facebook, fingers flying across the keyboard.
“So apart from 4 players that have their club symbols shown on the team sheet, the rest don’t have teams or what?” he typed, indignation burning within.
He added: “You can’t even select 11 players from your own local league… wow, I mean this is serious.”
The Black Satellites are preparing for the 2024 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship- a qualifier for the 2025 CAF U20 Cup of Nations- which starts on Thursday, 17 October 2024.
