A suspected Coronavirus case [COVID-19] at Berekum in the Bono Region on Wednesday tested negative.
The latest suspected coronavirus case in the country involved a Ghanaian said to have returned from Spain, where about 1,700 cases of the epidemic had been recorded with 37 deaths.
Speaking in a radio interview with Accra-based Citi FM, the Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Kofi Issah said the patient reported to the Berekum Community Hospital with symptoms of [Covid-19], however, a series of tests proved he is negative.
