Black Queens take on Tanzania in final WAFCON warm-up friendly
Ghana's Black Queens will continue their preparations for the 2026 TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) when they face Tanzania in an international friendly in Casablanca, Morocco, on Monday, July 20.

The match, scheduled to kick off at 6:00 p.m., forms part of the team’s final phase of preparations ahead of the continental showpiece.
After completing an initial warm-up fixture against Ivory Coast, the Black Queens will be looking to build momentum, improve team chemistry and fine-tune their tactics against the East African side.
The friendly also provides the technical team with another opportunity to assess the squad, evaluate individual performances and make final adjustments before the tournament begins.
The Black Queens are currently in a training camp in Morocco as they intensify preparations for WAFCON, which is set to kick off in the coming weeks.
Ghana has been drawn in Group C, where they will face Cape Verde, Mali and Cameroon in the group stage as they seek a strong start to their campaign.
