We are on course of winning the Ghana Premier League – GoldStars coach Frimpong Manso

Bibiani GoldStars head coach, Frimpong Manso, is confident of clinching the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League despite the defeat over the weekend.

The Miners were hoping to extend their lead on the league log but suffered a 2-0 defeat against Vision FC in the Matchday 29 games at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

Despite the defeat, GoldStars still lead the log with 53 points with five matches to end the season.

Nevertheless, head coach Frimpong Manso remains optimistic about their title hopes.

“We have four games left, three of them at home. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re motivated to push harder,” he said after the game.

“Even for the away game, we’ll fight for something. We’re still on course to win the league,” he added.

Edmond Asante sealed the win for Vision FC with a late strike, four minutes from time, ensuring Nana Kweku Agyemang’s side claimed a much-needed victory.

Bibiani GoldStars will aim to return to winning ways when they host struggling Karela United at the DUN’s Park on Sunday in the Matchday 30 games.
