Total donates to Lorry stations amid Covid-19

Total Petroleum Ghana Limited has donation sanitary materials to some selected lorry stations in the Northern region.

The gesture which took place this morning will be replicated in the five regions of the north, according to the area manager of total.

Mr Luke Kojo Asamoah, the Tamale area manager noted in an interview with fiilanews that total petroleum found it necessary to support their cherish customers to help stay safe during this period, hence the need for this donation.

 

He further stated the donation will be replicated in Bolgatanga and Wa in the coming days in the fight against covid 19.

Meanwhile he called on all drivers to adhere to the president’s outlined directive against the fight of covid 19 to ensure safety at all times.

Various lorry stations received donations of materials such as ; Veronica buckets, liquid soap, tissues,Dust bins and Tables.

On his part the Assistant Secretary of the Sankpala lorry station, Mohammed Adam who took delivery of the items thanked total petroleum for the kind gesture and noted it was a timely intervention.

On their part he noted they’ll continue to insist on the need for proper hand washing by passengers and also prevent over crowding in their buses, to fight the spread of the deadly disease.
