Saudi Pro League clubs battling to sign Thomas Partey this summer

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to hit the open market this summer, with his current contract at Arsenal set to expire at the end of June.

Despite delivering one of his most impressive campaigns since joining the Gunners, both in terms of appearances and goal contributions, Partey appears poised to leave the club.

The 32-year-old has been a key figure in Arsenal’s midfield this season but is likely to move on as the club plans for the future.

Partey’s performances have already sparked interest across Europe and beyond, with clubs in Spain, Italy, and the Saudi Pro League vying for his signature.

While the player is believed to prefer staying in Europe, representatives from Saudi clubs have reportedly opened talks with his camp, offering a lucrative three-year deal.

As Arsenal look to bridge the gap with current Premier League leaders Liverpool in the upcoming season, the club is expected to seek a high-calibre replacement for Partey.

After sitting out Arsenal’s recent win over Ipswich Town, Partey is anticipated to return to action when the Gunners host Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
