Real Tamale United bids farewell to coach Mumin Abdulai amidst struggles in Ghana Premier League

Ghana Premier League club Real Tamale United has announced the departure of their head coach, Mumin Abdulai.

The club’s management cited concerns over the coach’s safety to effectively perform his duties as the primary reason for this decision.

The management also urged the public to disregard match-fixing reports against coach Mumin.

The club, which has been struggling with a series of internal crises throughout the season, has been struggling to achieve desirable results on the pitch in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Under Mumin Abdulai’s leadership, Real Tamale United has managed to secure only two victories in their last seven games, a performance that has left them sitting in the 18th position on the league table with a mere 25 points after 27 games.

In the interim, the club’s management has entrusted the responsibility of managing the team to assistant coach Iddi Mansah.

Coach Iddi Mansah will be expected to steer the team through their next league game against current league leaders, Samartex.
