President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to equitable development across the country.
He assured residents of the Ahafo Region of continued investment in key sectors.
The President gave the assurance at a Citizens’ Engagement in Goaso on Saturday, marking the end of his two-day #ResettingGhana Tour of the region.
He acknowledged the support of traditional authorities and residents during the 2024 General Election and outlined ongoing policy interventions in road infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture and economic recovery.
He also announced plans to expand road rehabilitation and construction to all 16 regional capitals ahead of Ghana’s 70th Independence Anniversary, alongside initiatives to improve access to primary healthcare and specialised medical treatment.
President Mahama also inspected the proposed site for the Goaso Farmer Services Centre in the Ahafo Region as part of his tour to assess ongoing and planned development projects.
