old Students with the Ghana Army donate to Tamasco cadet Brigade

Tamale Senior High School Students Association branch of the Ghana Armed Forces has donated uniforms and boots to the cadet corps of their alma matter at brief ceremony in Tamale.

The items included 150 pies of uniform,100 boots and 100belts. The group also inspected the ongoing renovation works of the cadet corps armoury as it prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary.

The chief of the Naval staff of the Ghana Armed forces,Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, who led the team said it was immense privilege to be part of the generous act of donating one’s alma mater.

He expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their commitment in giving back to their alma mater.

Furthermore, the planned renovation of the school cadet corps Armory founded by us is a testament to our collective dedication to fostering an environment of excellence.

This facility plays a crucial role in the cadets training providing them with a dedication space to grow.

By investing in the renovating, we are creating an environment that reflects our commitment to the development and success. it will serve as a reminder of the proud legacy of the cadet corps and the countless individual’s who have passed through its ranks he added .

The Head master of Tamale Senior High School, Yakubu Mustapha said the school cadet corps has stood the test of time since its establishment 70 years ago. He said it has nurtured, groomed and instilled sense of discipline, moral uprightness, physical and mental fitness among students.

The senior school Prefect used the opportunity to thank the Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubufor their kind gesture.
