Mothers receive a special treat at God Cares Community Hospital

As part of the upcoming Mother’s Day Celebration schedule for Sunday May 12, the God Cares Community Hospital in its own way celebrated both mothers and prospective mothers during today’s antenatal visit to the hospital.

The mothers numbering over 150 were served with various meals after undergoing their antenatal and postnatal services with the facility.

In an interview with the Chief Executive Officer of God Cares Community Hospital, Dr. Richard Opoku indicated that mothers are special creatures who must be celebrated always.

Dr. Opoku added that the hospital in collaboration with Fiila Fm, in their little way appreciates the effort mothers put in, to help take care of the future generation from pregnancy through childbirth to adulthood.

In an interview with some of the beneficiaries, they expressed their utmost gratitude to the health workers at the facility who made the day possible.

One Bintu Abubakari added that mothers should attach importance to antenatal care as it helps monitor the health of both the child and mother.

One Mr. Alhassan who accompanied his wife for antenatal care, called on other men to emulate the gesture and find interest in the health of their wards.
