Kwesi Appiah bags three awards at Boreham Wood FC
Former Black Stars striker Kwesi Appiah has scooped three individual awards at English club Boreham Wood after helping the team secure promotion to the National League.

The 34-year-old played an instrumental role in the campaign, earning him the Plays’ Player of the Season award.
Appiah was also voted the Supporters Player of the Year while he also received the golden boot award for the most goals in the just-concluded campaign. The ex-Crystal Palace and Crawley Town striker scored 24 goals in 35 matches, including two hat-tricks.
His outstanding performances endeared him to fans of Boreham, who are hoping to see him extend his stay at the club.
An excited Appiah posted on social media: “Promotion! Players’ Player of the Season, Supporters’ Player of the Season, Top Goal Score. Honoured. Humbled. Now it’s time to rest, reset, and prepare for the next challenge. The journey continues!”
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations revelation and silver medalist will be targeting League One promotion with Boreham Wood next season.
