KGL U-17 Colts 2025 Final set for Saturday at McDan Teshie Sports Complex
The McDan Teshie Sports Complex will host the grand finale of the 2025 KGL U-17 Inter-Regional Championship on Saturday, September 27, where Ghana’s most promising young footballers will battle for top honors.

The journey to the final continues on Thursday, September 25, with two thrilling semi-finals at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram.
Greater Accra, unbeaten so far, will face long-time rivals Ashanti Region in the opening clash at 1pm local time.
At 3pm, a revitalized Central Region, winners of Group B, will take on the defending champions, Western Region.
The third-placed match will also take place at the same venue. Kick off 1pm local time with the final billed to start at 3pm.
The winners of these high-stakes encounters will advance to the championship match at McDan Teshie, setting the stage for a fitting climax to this prestigious tournament.
Featuring rising stars from ten Regional Football Associations and two GFA Elite Academies, the 2025 championship has been packed with goals, drama, and standout performances, underscoring the rich potential of Ghana’s U-17 talent pool.
Now in its fifth edition, the KGL U-17 Inter-Regional Championship has firmly established itself as Ghana’s premier platform for scouting and developing young football talent. This year’s expanded 12-team format, uniting all ten Regional Football Associations and the two elite academies, ensures both competitive depth and nationwide representation.
Backed by a landmark five-year, $1 million sponsorship from the KGL Foundation, the tournament remains central to the Ghana Football Association’s grassroots development strategy—driving talent discovery, protecting player welfare, and inspiring the country’s next generation of football stars.
