I’ll be at the Accra Sports Stadium to support Black Galaxies vs Nigeria – Abedi Pele

Ghana will square off against the home-based Super Eagles in the first leg of the playoff on Sunday, November 22, 2024, before traveling to Nigeria for the return leg a week later.

Ahead of the crucial tie, Abedi Pele’s Nania FC played a friendly match against the Black Galaxies in Prampram, a game the Galaxies won.

Addressing the players after the match, the Ghanaian legend assured them of his presence at the stadium this coming weekend and expressed his confidence in their ability to overcome Nigeria.

“I will make sure that I am with you at the Accra Sports Stadium first to support you,” he said.

I have never done that. The invitations are too many, but I always try to avoid them. But this time, I’ll be there, be behind you, and see you go through the process.”

Ghana saw off Nigeria in the previous playoffs in 2022 to qualify, with this being a rematch.
