Holy Spirit healed me from sexual immorality, attempted suicide and anger issues – Tonto Dikeh

In an Instagram post on October 22,2025  the actress and philanthropist said the Holy Spirit healed her from anger issues, depression, sexual immorality, attempted suicide among others.

In a post titled “7 Things the Holy Spirit Healed Me From to appreciate God”, Tonto acknowledged that her transformation and spiritual journey was possible because she realized she had “ran back to her first love” after life showed her harshest lessons without mercy.

The actress mentioned that before finding peace, she struggled with uncontrollable anger which destroyed valuable relationships and opportunities for her.

According to her, she used to mistake her outbursts for strength when, in reality, they were rooted in pain and insecurity.

“My anger was not power; it was pain disguised as control. But one day, I broke down and cried out like a child. I was tired of being ruled by my emotions,” she wrote.
