GFA Veep Mark Addo commends AsanteGold Bibiani Ltd’s support during Black Maidens’ intensive training camp

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice-President Mark Addo recently visited the Black Maidens, Ghana’s National Female Under-17 team, currently training in Bibiani.

The team is engaged in a five-week intensive training program, funded by AsanteGold Bibiani Ltd, as they prepare for key international competitions, including qualification matches for continental tournaments.

During his visit, Mr. Addo extended President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku’s gratitude to AsanteGold Bibiani Ltd for their vital support.

“We are grateful for the commitment shown by AsanteGold Bibiani Ltd towards the development of women’s football in Ghana,” Mr Addo said.

“The sponsorship has enabled us to provide the necessary resources for the team’s preparation.”

Led by Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa, the recently reconstituted Black Maidens have been in camp for nearly three weeks, focusing on skill enhancement and team cohesion. Mr. Addo encouraged the players to stay dedicated and disciplined, highlighting the importance of teamwork.

The Black Maidens’ preparation is aimed at securing qualification for major tournaments, including the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
