The Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, has announced a medical review opportunity for applicants who were unsuccessful in the medical stage of the 2025/2026 Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) recruitment exercise.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page, he explained that candidates who failed the medical assessment are encouraged to check with the medical centres where they were examined to find out the specific reasons for their disqualification.
He further indicated that applicants with treatable or curable medical conditions at that stage are advised to seek appropriate medical attention, as they will be invited again for a review.
According to him, the medical review process will be conducted at no cost to the affected applicants.
The announcement is expected to offer a second chance to some candidates who were initially disqualified on medical grounds, as part of efforts to ensure fairness in the recruitment process.
