Five Ghanaian coaches participate in FIFA Coach Educators Development Pathway Assessment in Kigali

Five Ghanaian coaches are currently in Kigali, Rwanda, taking part in the FIFA Coach Educators Development Pathway Assessment, a key programme aimed at strengthening coaching education structures across Member Associations.

The Ghanaian delegation is made up of experienced figures from both the national team and club levels, reflecting the country’s commitment to continuous technical development.

Leading the contingent is Maxwell Konadu, head coach of Ghana’s U-20 national team, whose vast experience at both club and international levels adds significant value to the programme.

He is joined by Prosper Narteh Ogum, head coach of the Ghana U-17 national team, as well as seasoned women’s football tactician Yusif Basigi.

Also representing Ghana are respected youth development coach Evans Adotey and Nana Kweku Agyemang of Vision FC.

The inclusion of coaches working at different tiers of the game highlights a deliberate effort to strengthen knowledge transfer across various levels of Ghanaian football.

The FIFA Coach Educators Development Pathway Assessment is designed to enhance the capacity of coach educators by equipping them with modern methodologies, evaluation tools and structured frameworks.

Participants are expected to return to their respective countries better positioned to elevate coaching standards and support long-term football development strategies.

Ghana’s strong presence in Kigali underlines the Ghana Football Association’s focus on investing in technical expertise and aligning its coaching education system with global best practices.

The experience gained is expected to positively impact grassroots, youth and elite football development upon their return.
