The Sagnarigu municipal assembly is set to thrash piled up scrap on the Bolgatanga highway with immediate effect should the owner fails to comply with evacuation directive by close of day.
This was contained in a release signed by the Municipal Chief Executive Hajia Mariam Iddrisu, and copied to Fiila news over the weekends.
According to the assembly, efforts to have the pile of scrap metals evacuated around the Kanvilli satellite market which is said to be abandoned at the place for 4 weeks by an articulated truck involved in an accident has proved futile.
This therefore caused the assembly to place an April 6th directive for the owners to evacuate their metal scrap or the assembly will trash them after the April 6th deadline.
