John Dumelo has kicked off his duties as elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon by providing a free bus ride for students of the University of Ghana, Legon, to travel to their hometowns for the yuletide.
This serves as a token of appreciation for their overwhelming support during the recently-held parliamentary election.
Dumelo triumphed in the election by securing the majority of votes from all Legon polling centers to unseat the incumbent MP, Lydia Alhassan.
Their endorsement has helped in achieving his long-standing aspiration of becoming a legislator.
