Choose value over vanity – Kwabena Agyepong tells NPP delegates

New Patriotic Party, flagbearer hopeful Ing. Kwabena Agyepong has urged delegates to prioritise values over vanity in the party’s upcoming presidential election.
He made the appeal on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, while unveiling his six-pillar policy vision ahead of the NPP’s presidential primaries.
Advising party delegates, Ing. Agyepong emphasised the importance of choosing candidates based on character, principles, and integrity rather than personal appeal.
“To my fellow patriots, our delegates, entrusted to choose the next President of our beloved country, on January 31, do not just choose a candidate, choose values over vanity. Choose principles over patronage, choose character over chicanery, choose to believe again.
“Let’s come together, party and people, and build this new Ghana. Let us embrace this covenant and march forward to victory,” he said.
The New Patriotic Party is scheduled to elect its presidential candidate for the 2028 general elections on January 31, 2026.
