Bole-Bamboi MP calls for calm in his constituency amid agitations

Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, has appealed to the youth and people of the constituency, urging them to be calm in light of recent developments in the area.
This comes after youths and people of the constituency were agitated and burnt lorry tyres at the President Mahama’s father’s house while destroying properties in the vicinity over the non-nomination of their MP for any ministerial position yet.
In a statement released on Tuesday, January 21, Sulemana emphasized his unwavering loyalty to President John Dramani Mahama and expressed his confidence in the former President’s wisdom and leadership.
As a loyal and devoted brother of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and a firm believer in his wisdom and experience, I wholeheartedly support his decisions,” he stated.
The MP called on his constituents to back President Mahama’s “reset agenda” and assured them that their concerns would be well-represented, irrespective of the role he is entrusted with.
“I humbly urge all of you to support our brother in his pursuit of the reset agenda. I am confident that our concerns will be well-represented, regardless of the role H.E. will entrust to me,” he added.
Yusif Sulemana also cautioned against any actions that could lead to unrest or tarnish the image of the constituency, urging all to respect the rule of law.
“Please, do not take the law into your own hands or engage in actions that could bring embarrassment to us all,” he appealed.
He concluded by thanking the people of Bole-Bamboi for their understanding and cooperation during this time.
