Black Galaxies leave for Togo for international friendly

The Black Galaxies of Ghana have left for Lomé, Togo, for an international friendly.

The team is preparing for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria later this month.

The Black Galaxies have been in camp for the past month as the team eyes a return to the tournament designed for playing plying their trade on the continent.

Coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani has invited over 30 players as he fine tunes his team ahead of the announcement of the final squad for the two-legged encounter.

Ghana will host Nigeria in the first leg in Accra on the weekend of December 20 to 23, before travelling to Abuja for the second leg.

The Black Galaxies defeated the same side to qualify for the tournament in 2023, where Ghana exited the championship at the group stage.

Since reaching the final in 2009 and 2014, the Black Galaxies are yet to make a significant mark at the African Nations Championship.
