Ambariya college of education finally graduates two badges in a colorful ceremony

Two badges of the Ambariya college of education has finally graduated in a colorful ceremony held at the fore Court of the Ambariya school in Tamale last Saturday.

The graduation ceremony which was hindered by the president’s ban on public gathering saw the postponement of the ceremony in order to adhere to the directive.

In an interview with Fiila News, Sheikh Abdul – Samie Issah Iddris the secretary to the leader of the Ambariya community indicated that, the back lock of final year students was in adhering to the directives of the President of the republic to help curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

He expressed that, the graduation ceremony which constitute both the 5th and 6th badge has been long overdue, hence having it come off this year is timely. In outlining the challenges faced by the institute, Sheik Issah Iddris indicated that the Ambariya college of education lacks infrastructure, making the college to resort to the use of the junior high school after closing.

He added that the lack of infrastructure is the college causes trainees to study only the theoretical aspect but unable of to study the practicals. 

He made a passionate appealed to the government, stakeholders and other coporate bodies to come to their aid to equipped the teachers undergoing training.

The occasion was grease by the Northern Regional Imam Alhaji Ahmed – Salam who aslo challenged the graduates to exhibit an absolute good behavior in the course of their duty. He further tasked them to help to promote peace and tranquility within their respective communities since is the teachings of Islam.

The Northern Regional Imam urged the ministry of education to roll out Arabic language programs in the basic school that will sustain the development of the country since Ghanaians are very religious.
