Allegations against Deputy MD over staff dismissals false – ADB

The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has firmly denied allegations circulating against the Bank and its Deputy Managing Director, Eno Ofori-Atta, describing them as baseless and defamatory.

In a press release, ADB rejected the claims, emphasizing its steadfast commitment to professionalism, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

The Bank attributed the allegations to the recent dismissal of certain staff members, a decision made by its Board of Directors during a properly convened regular meeting.

ADB reaffirmed that all decisions within the institution strictly adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

The Deputy Managing Director, Mrs .Eno Ofori-Atta was commended for her exceptional professionalism and exemplary contributions since assuming her role at the Bank.

“She has consistently upheld the principles of integrity and diligence, which are central to the Bank’s operations,” the statement emphasized.

The Bank assured stakeholders of its unwavering focus on driving economic growth through agriculture and other development-oriented initiatives.

It also urged the public to disregard the false claims, branding them as malicious attempts to tarnish the Bank’s reputation.

“ADB remains focused on its core mission and will not allow baseless accusations to distract from its goals.

“The Bank will not hesitate to pursue legal action against individuals or entities propagating these falsehoods,” the statement concluded.

Stakeholders were encouraged to treat the misinformation with the contempt it deserves as ADB reiterated its dedication to fostering economic growth and upholding the trust of its clients and partners.
