Agyemang-Badu refuses to blame Otto Addo and technical team for Black Stars woes
Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu beleives the challenges facing the Black Stars are not entirely down to coaching.

His remarks follow after the senior national team failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament scheduled to be hosted in Morocco next year.
Ghana needed a win ahead of their Matchday five game against Angola but were held to a 1-1 draw at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on Friday to leave the team at the 4th spot in Group F with just three points after five games.
Speaking in an interview, the FIFA U-20 World Cup winner refused to blame the technical team.
According to him, five coaches have been appointed under Kurt Okraku’s led administration and have all failed, adding that the issues cannot always be about coaching.
“Obviously, there are problems with the technical team, in as much the coach is not doing so well, the entire problem cannot solely be attributed to the coach,” .
“If we’ve had five different coaches to handle the team and we are still struggling, do you think the coach is really the problem? If we make that assumption then we are not being honest to ourselves,” he added.
Ghana meanwhile will wrap up their qualifiers with a home game against Niger on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 16:00 GMT.
