2026/27 Ghana Premier League: Week 3 Match Preview- Dreams FC vs Gold Stars

.The Still Believe side saw their opening-day fixture against Medeama postponed due to the latter’s involvement in the CAF Champions League.

Their campaign subsequently got off to a difficult start with a 3-1 defeat away to Berekum Chelsea.

Head coach Winfred Dorman, the former Great Olympics captain, is now tasked with rebuilding a competitive squad after promoting 10 players from the club’s youth setup ahead of the new season.

Following a difficult campaign last term, Dreams FC will be eager to find their rhythm early and avoid another prolonged battle against relegation.

Gold Stars, meanwhile, arrive in Kasoa looking to recover from a disappointing start to their title challenge.

The Bibiani-based club suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Hearts of Oak last Sunday, following an earlier 1-0 loss away to Bechem United.

New signing Kwame Opoku provided a rare positive for the Miners, finding the net against the Phobians, but head coach Petros Koukouras will be demanding a stronger response from his players.

With both sides still searching for their first points of the campaign, Sunday’s encounter presents an opportunity for Dreams FC and Gold Stars to kick-start their seasons.
