Ninety-seven cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) were confirmed in Ghana on Saturday to bring the tally to 5,735.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) also reported that the number of recoveries have also risen by 294 to 1,754. One more death have also been reported to bring the tally of fatalities to 29.
The Savannah, Bono East and Ahafo regions have still not recorded any coronavirus disease cases.
The Greater Accra Region has recorded– 4,314 cases, Ashanti Region – 818 and the Central Region – 210 cases. Eastern Region has so far recorded – 99 cases with the Western Region following closely with– 98 confirmed cases.
Western North Region has 57 cases, Volta Region – 34 with Northern Region bagging a total of 31 cases.
Upper East Region has 26 confirmed cases, Oti Region – 24, Upper West Region – 21 with North East Region and Bono Region recording the lowest with 2 and 1 respectively.
