Talented Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Toku has completed his move to Bulgarian top-flight club Botev Plovdiv.

Earlier this week, reports picked up from Denmark suggested that the youngster could move from lower-tier club Fremad Amager by the close of this week.

Following up on that report, your trusted Ghanaian online portal has received confirmation from Botev Plovdiv that they have signed Emmanuel Toku on a one and a half year deal.

“Botev (Plovdiv) strengthened his midfield, attracting Ghanaian talent Emanuel Toku. The “Canaries” agreed on the transfer of the player with the Danish team Fremad Amager,” a communique on the website of the Bulgarian club has announced.

The communique continues, “The 20-year-old midfielder’s contract with the “yellow-blacks” is for a period of 18 months. The talented midfielder will be available to coach Azrudin Valentic for the upcoming match with Arda.”

At Botev Plovdiv, Emmanuel Toku will have a big role to play and will be expected to help the team achieve its goals in the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.
