The Mauves and Yellows have been without a substantive head coach ever since Samuel Boadu resigned from his role at the club and management are still in search for a new candidate as at now with lots of names already poped up on their radar.

Just and when, Medeama SC thought they were getting on track in the ongoing campaign, they got dealt with huge blow with the reason being that, their enterprising gaffer whom many tipped to win the league this year, has vacated his role and is heading to the capital to sign for Hearts of Oak.

With this, the 2016 FA Cup winners have been linked with lots of coaches in the local scene but according to the latest reports reaching Kickgh.com, ex- Hearts of Oak gaffer Frank Nuttall is likely to be the better option for the vacant role at the Akoon Park.

The Scottish tactician is known very well in our local league coming down as the best Hearts of Oak foreign trainer in the last decade guiding them to the second position, narrowly losing the league title to Aduana Stars in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season and also reaching the final of the FA Cup.

Medeama SC have been linked with a move to replace their out gone head coach with lots of coaches notably, Ibrahim Tanko, Ignatius Osei Fosu, Yaw Preko, Steven Pollack and Yaw Acheampong- who just recently ended his long stay with Elmina Sharks.

But according to the latest speculations, the former Township Rollers coach will ink a two years contract with an option to extend based strictly on performance should negotiations between the two parties succeed in the coming weeks.
