Residents and businesses in parts of Accra West have been advised to brace for a temporary power outage as the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) carries out scheduled maintenance works.
The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and forms part of ECG’s ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and enhance the reliability of electricity supply.
In a notice issued by the company, ECG stated that the planned maintenance will affect Abease, Achiama, Obeyeyie, Ayikai Doblo, Akramaman and surrounding communities.
The company has apologised for the inconvenience and urged customers in the affected areas to take the necessary precautions during the outage period.
