The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has appeared before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to account for its use of public funds and present its operational challenges.
The closed-door session, which lasted several hours, saw the OSP make three key requests it deemed vital to strengthening its fight against corruption.
According to a source familiar with the meeting, the OSP called for increased financial support, noting that many of the individuals and entities under investigation possess significant financial and legal resources.
