The reagent of Bimbila Nyelibolgu naa Andani Dassana of the Nanung tradional area has urged the newly appointed Northern Reginal Minister Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu to pay attention to the tourist sites in the Northern Region.
According to him tourist site is a source of revenue and help attract international investors to help in the development in the region.
The reagent of the Nanung traditional area appealed to the Regional Minister to put up a project in Nanung to create jobs for the youth.
He made this statements when the newly appointed Northern Regional minister , Alhaji Shani Alahassan Saibu payed a courtesy call on some chiefs in Nanung as part of his regional tour as he assumed office early march.
He visited Bimbila, Wulunsi, and Kpandai yesterday march 2021, to familiarize himself with the Chiefs and other Opinion leaders as He officially begins work.
He declared that, his regime has a lot of initiatives which includes ensuring quality educational system, maintaining adequate peace and tranquility, revamping the Agricultural sector, provision of clean drinking water and creating jobs among several others.
The Minister further noted that he will be visiting periodically with developmental projects for these areas in the near future.
