NPP Government promises One Districts – One District Hospital in Northern Ghana

The Nana Addo-Bawumia led administration is poised to roll out another developmental-initiative which will focus on healthcare provision.

It was disclosed that one of the 2020 manifesto promises of the NPP is to provide one district hospital to each district in the North under the yet to be implemented One District – One Hospital initiative.

The Vice President of the republic who also doubles as the Vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2020 elections, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has stated that the Nana Addo led government will prioritize the construction of health centers in Northern Ghana by establishing and increasing the number of district and regional hospitals in the Northern part of the country.

According to Dr. Bawumia, the only way to increase the total healthcare provision of Ghanaians is for the country to construct more healthcare facilities to cater for the health needs of its people.

Dr. Bawumia made this known Saturday when he was being hosted live on FiilaFm during his 10-day tour of the Region.

The 1 District -1 hospital initiative will be the third of its kind after the 1 District 1 Dam and 1 District 1 Factory initiatives which has been described as unsuccessful by the opposition NDC.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was on Saturday interviewed by Fiila FM’s Abdul Razak Alhassan on the Tumajalinsi Show.

Dr. Bawumia answered questions in relation to the various sectors of Ghana’s economy including, agriculture, education, health, business among others.

He also used the opportunity to explain to Ghanaians his party’s vision for the country and their achievements thus far.

Dr. Bawamia also called on Ghanaians to massively vote for his boss, Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the December general elections to enable them transform the fortunes of the country.
