Ghana forward Andre Ayew hails NAC Breda’s back-to-back wins in Dutch top-flight

Ghana international Andre Ayew has expressed his delight following NAC Breda’s impressive back-to-back wins in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The former Black Stars captain started and lasted the entire duration, as his outfit cruised to a narrow victory over FC Volendam in the week 24 clash, held at the Rat Verlegh Stadion on Saturday.

NAC Breda, who are pushing to survive relegation at the end of the campaign has won two consecutive games, with Ayew playing entire minutes in both matches, underlining his influence in the team’s recent form.

Before his arrival, NAC Breda had recorded two straight wins in the league back in December 2024.

However, the former Marseille, West Ham United and Swansea City star has taken to social media to celebrate the sides’ back-to-back win the Eredivisie, while shifting attention to their next fixture against Telstar.

“Back-to-back wins. Stadium on fire. One team, one family. Focused on Friday” he wrote on Instagram.

NAC Breda are one place above the relegation drop after 24 matches, accumulating 22 points.

Since joining the club in the winter window, Ayew has made seven appearances, but is yet to score or register an assists.
