Speaking in a post-match presser, the Black Stars assistant coach admitted they were handed a very tough opposition, but added they still couldn’t get distracted as they still stood on their toes to fight for the victory

“It’s a hard-fought victory,” Ofei said. “Honestly, we needed the win, so we had to show some character, and the boys showed that today, and that was what we were missing in our last game, and luckily we came away with a good goal and that led to the three points, so we are very happy.”
