Asante Kotoko resign former striker Albert Amoah on loan from Al Ahly Benghazi
Asante Kotoko have secured the return of striker Albert Amoah on loan from Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi for the remainder of the season.

Amoah had moved to North Africa earlier this year after Kotoko’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, which ended with a heavy loss to Wydad Athletic Club in the preliminary round.
Limited playing time in Libya prompted the forward to make a swift comeback to the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors confirmed Amoah’s signing on Thursday, the final day of the transfer window.
Amoah previously enjoyed a prolific spell at Kotoko after joining from Great Olympics in 2024, finishing the 2024–25 season as the club’s top scorer with 15 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
He also played a pivotal role in Kotoko’s FA Cup triumph, netting three goals in four matches.
This season, he has already scored four goals in six matches, including a brace against Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
It is yet to be announced when Amoah will make his first appearance following his return to Kumasi.
