The northern regional police has on Tuesday November 2,2021, observed a memorial service in honor of the officers who fell in line of duty .
The service which was led by the Northern Regional Commander COP Timothy Yoosa Bonga, saw the raising of flag and the laying of wrath to honor the departed officers.
The COP Timothy Yoosa Bonga used the occasion to encouraged police personnel in the region not to be demoralized and urged them to continue to work hard as a memorial for the personnel who have lost their lives.
Th Police Commander, has meanwhile appealed to residents in Tamale and its surroundings to support the police to fight and reduce crime in the region.
He assured residents that the police will continue to fight criminal activities in the region to ensure that residents live in peace.
It will be recalled that a gory accident involving officers in the Northeast region left two officers dead with a couple in a critical Condition.
The bodies were later airlifted to the nations capital for further investigations and preservation and the injured for further treatment.
