2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 24 Match Preview – Asante Kotoko vs Vision FC

Asante Kotoko will chase a second consecutive victory under interim coach Prince Yaw Owusu when they host Vision FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, with uncertainty over the club’s managerial structure continuing to linger in the background.

The Interim Management Committee, which has overseen the club’s affairs for more than a year, is reportedly nearing the end of its tenure, but attention remains firmly on the pitch as the Porcupine Warriors aim to maintain momentum in the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko return home buoyed by a convincing 2-0 win over Young Apostles, a result that lifted them to fourth place with 38 points. They have scored 30 goals this season, the second-highest tally in the league, while maintaining a strong home record of six wins, four draws and just one defeat.

Vision FC, however, arrive in Kumasi in confident mood. The Tema-based side are ninth with 30 points and unbeaten in their last four matches, including an impressive 3-2 comeback victory over Bechem United. They are also unbeaten in their last four away games, suggesting they will pose a serious challenge.

Recent meetings between the two sides have been closely contested, with each team recording a win and one match ending in a draw since January 2025.

With both sides enjoying solid form, Sunday’s clash promises to be a competitive encounter as Kotoko push to strengthen their top-four position while Vision seek to continue their steady rise.
